Summary: the best
Comment: I have tried almost every other brand out there. Yeah, I live in a trailer park, so this is high entertainment. The power from the 2 D batteries is enough to take out the big critters with a satisfying POP. The AA battery zappers were too flimsy to last more a day. This is the only fly swatter that I have bought more than 1 of, a must own!

Summary: Received "AA" NOT "D" AS AD STATES
Comment: They advertised 'THIS IS NOT your regular WEAK "AA" powered Electronic swatter. Our Electronic swatter uses 2 "D" batteries which gives off a POWERFUL 1,500 bug exploding volts!
What was sent does not use D cells but instead uses 2 'AA' cells in direct contradiction to what they said.
I think that the advertisement should clearly state what actually would ship.
I have used it and it does work very well so I'll keep it.
But in the future I would be reluctant to order from that vendor since I can't be sure that what is advertised would be what they send you.

Summary: Fantastic tool
Comment: I got my bug zapper as a gift from a friend in China. I have had it for 3 years and I could not be happier. The only disadvantage is that it's not flexible like a flyswatter so some nooks and crannies are hard to get access to, but this thing is incredibly effective. You can catch bugs in mid-air or zap them against a surface, and occasionally sparks fly out and there's a cool snapping sound that can be extremely loud. I've scared more than a few people with it. Occasionally there is also a smell like burned popcorn, but it dissipates within a few seconds. I use this all the time and I love it.
One caution, though: it looks like a badminton racket, but it is NOT a toy. Zapping yourself or someone else with this is incredibly painful. And the charge remains in the wires for awhile after the button is turned off, so do not stick your fingers in to clean it out soon after, or you will get shocked! It should probably be kept away from children.

Comment: I bought this because I thought if it uses 2 'D' Batteries there should be more zapping power -therefore, it will kill bugs faster, right? ... but the air doesn't go easily through so its a bit harder to catch them. Also, the size of the round part is not big enough. Before, I was using the double AA batteries operated and it was pretty easy to handle, easy to catch bugs but the only problem it was kinda week at the time to kill insects or bugs.
I recommend try another model/brand. Maybe, other brands has the combination of both: power and handling.
good luck

Summary: No more mosquitoes
Comment: My hubby loves the electric bug zapper! And I like the fact there are no more body guts on the ceiling, etc.! So far, it works great. Button came out once but hubby put it back. We recommend it.
