Summary: Great deal
Comment: Purchased one of these from seller Eforcity for less than five bucks after shipping. Arrived pretty quickly in Washington apparently from California. Was in a sealed generic clear plastic bag. Looks just like the one pictured with the clear plastic end connector tethered to the cable. Hooked it up to my Toshiba 1080p TV and Onkyo 7.1 Receiver and it seems to work fine.

Comment: To me, a cable is a cable just like an orange is an orange. Why pay more when you can get it somewhere else for less money? Well, I saw that the price of this cable is around $1. I bought it and connect it to my PS3 to my home theater system. The sound is awesome! I have no problems with this cable and I like it so much, I'm going to purchase another one.

Summary: $24 cables? Whatchu talkin bout Willis?
Comment: I had already bought a $24 optical cable from Radioshack and as soon as I read all these reviews I ordered this one. As soon as it came I swapped out the cable with no noticeable difference except the $20 credit to my AMEX for returning that expensive sucka back to Radioshack. Crooks!

Comment: I have this cable hooked up to my Samsung LCD and Samsung surround sound system. Works exactly the same as the monster cable that I got from Circuit City for $[...]. The protective caps on the end are attached which is a nice feature, so you don't loose them.
Recommend this for anyone not wanting to get taken by the chain stores. When I returned the cable to CC, the manager asked me why and I told him "I got the same cable off Amazon for less than [...] bucks". All he could was "that's a pretty good price".

Comment: The connectors do not lock into place and will fall out with the weight of the cord alone. I would give this product 5 stars just for the price if it worked.
