Summary: Great Knives
Comment: These knives are terrific. I haven't found a thing that they don't slice right through! Even steak isn't a challenge for these knives! My husband always used to complain about our other set, but since getting these he hasn't complained once. The knives also cut through fruits and veggies without making a mess. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to buy a quality set of knives!

Comment: I was washing these and they cut clean through the bristled sponge I was using. I'm concerned about the longevity of the sharpness, but I'll review again in a few months after heavy use. So far they are great, look good and cut well!

Comment: If you are on a budget but need good sharp knives to last you for a little while...these are great! They are sharp and they do their job well. But be warned, these do rust after about 8 months if you aren't careful. I suggest washing after every time you use them and don't put them in the dishwasher to make them last longer. Other than that, they are sharp enough for general kitchen cutting,

Comment: Very sharp, but not spot- and rust-free, even though they state they are stainless. We have had them for three weeks now, and they look a bit spotty. My hubby wanted to send them back (doesn't like spots), but I like the sharp edges, and I don't care about the spots. Ginsu knives are much sharper than Farberware! Woo-hoo!

Comment: I bought ours 3 years ago and they are still sharpe. I wouldn't know how they work on meat since we are vegetarians, but they cut fruit and vegies with ease. I have since bought 2 other sets for family members as gifts because all they loved them when at our house. If you don't like the block, then buy another or store them in a drawer. Very Happy for 3 years running!
