Summary: I LOVE it!!!
Comment: We first ordered the type where you lay down on a mat (Homedics brand also) but hated it my first try. It was actually painful! I immediately boxed it back up for return. I then ordered this quad roller/shiatsu and could not be more pleased. The shiatsu function feels WONDERFUL (much better than the 4-ball circular motion the other models have). This massager feels more like an actual massage chair (the prof. kind that costs $$$). This is great for the lower & middle back!

Summary: Broken Already
Comment: My HoMedics QRM-400H has been used only lightly since it was purchased less than four months ago. The width adjustment mechanism for the rollers is broken. Very disappointing considering this is a premium product in the HoMedic line. Now I am out a good chunk of money to mail this back to HoMedics for a warranty repair.
Were it not for bad quality, I would have rated the QRM-400H highly. When it was working properly, I really liked the flexibility the unit offers.

Comment: all the people who said that this "hurts" do not know what a good massage is! definition of massage: Repetitive pressure, friction, and kneading motions applied to a body region(s) to break down inflammation and muscle spasm. these complainers must want to be tickled with a feather, not massaged! these are the people who jump in a pool, and then complain that it's wet! yes, it has pressure, and friction, and it kneads, which is all part of a massage people!!! this is a powerful, relaxing, mesmerizing product that is worth every dollar! you can go and spend $500+ on a message chair, but you don't need a chair, you just need the part that massages, and this is it. every couch should have one!

Comment: I love this massager and use it often. It fits perfectly on an office chair and the added heat helps relax the muscles while it works. I wish it would go a bit higher on my back though. I would definitely recommend this product.
