Summary: Vastly aggravating and disappointing
Comment: My advice is not to purchase this software. I've not been able to make it work.
I am not a techie by any means, but I'm not an idiot, either, and I cannot get this Motorola software to make ringtones and transfer them to my Motorola phone. Installation went fine. Updates went fine. It recognized my Razr. It let me cut out a snippet from a CD to use as a ringtone. Then things went bad. Won't tranfer to the phone. Repeated phone calls to Motorola Customer Service results in my talking to people whose English is so heavily accented that my Texas ears can hardly understand them, AND they don't seem to know what they're talking about anyway, as their information doesn't work and is contrary to what the software states.
I have been unable to get any help from the web, either. So I'm stuck with useless software (all I wanted to do was make some ringtones, not interested in otherwise sync'ing to Outlook, etc.), a feeling of being ripped off and that Motorola just doesn't care about customer service.

Had a couple of lock ups, but it does OK for what I wanted. It's worth $20.00... but not the $50 that Motorolla asks on their website!

Comment: I like this product very much. It is simple to install and operate. It has saved money by letting me create my own ringtones. Some of the things that the software can do take a little time to figure out, but other than that, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save money creating their own ringtones.

Comment: Overall, it's worth the Amazon price in the long run. If you make 15 ringtones or pictures, it pays for itself. I would NOT recommend buying this at the full purchase price most stores charge.
I purchased this to enter in detailed contact data, make ringtones and pics -- a luxury item just for fun. I've only used the Outlook/Calendar function for personal reasons. I have not used the function to make this an Internet portal or to make a call, yet.
Pros:
--Fun
--Much cheaper to purchase this program and make your own ringtones, pics, etc. than to purchase from another company.
--Decent freedom to customize content, including length of ringtone, basic picture editing ability, etc.
--Can preview wallpaper as how it will look on the screen.
Cons:
--Calendar and contact functions are not as user friendly or intuitive as I would expect from a professional program. I don't know that I would rely on this program for managing a business calendar.
--Program is missing standard buttons/options found in most programs, such as "select all".
--Need to play around with the program first to figure out how each function works. Not as intuitive as it could be.

Comment: I use Windows Vista and the program had to be updated after installation from disc but seems to work fine. I also use Outlook 2007 and it integrates great with outlook. Auto synch was a little confusing but this may be dependent on your phone and not Outlook.
