Summary: Best purchase this year
Comment: I purchased this system for my dad. He had an accident two years ago and has limited use and feeling in his hands. These phones have nice big buttons, everything is clearly marked and they are very easy to set up and use. I like that he has a phone at each end of the house and can keep one with him at all times. If one is off the charger for a long time he can just switch it with one of the others. The long standby time is great for when he forgets to put one back on its charger.
With a 50 number phone book and 50 number caller ID he hardly ever has to actually dial a number, but if he does the buttons are big enough that he can feel them and get it right the first time.
The handsets are very lightweight and run on regular AAA rechargable batteries, so if they stop holding a charge one day they can easily be replaced.
He told me that the phones have been working great and he gets no static no matter where in the house he goes.

Summary: pleased in Florida
Comment: I bought this phone system to replace a group of different phones around the house. I love it. I love that I can program the phone numbers into 1 handset and then copy to the other sets. It's easy to use and very similar to my cell phone. Speaker works well and you can easily hear the phone ring from anywhere in the house. I would like a larger or brighter flashing light to indicate messages. That would be my only sugguestion for improvement.

Summary: Great phones and great price, battery life unbelieveable
Comment: I didn't need the answering machine because I already had one, but I did need some new extensions and didn't have enough phone jacks. I needed to see caller ID so I didn't have to run across the room to see if I wanted to answer the phone. I plugged the main one in, and then the two remote bases into the electric receptical, and voila, it all works and great. The batteries I ran down deliberately a couple of times to "exercise" them, but it took a week on standby before it was down to one bar. The buttons are intuitive, there is no "learning curve" and the answering machine is either on or off, so enjoy these, and the price as well!!

Summary: Pansonic is surely overrated
Comment: Charged battery don't last as claimed. Other than that its a decent phone but little overpriced because of brand.
