Comment: I assume "ER" stands for extended reach. It just doesn't cut nose hair hardly at all. My old "non-ER" trimmer worked great.The difference is the extended "cap" over the cutter. Unfortunately I bought 2 of them. They are worthless and unusable.

Comment: I had alway use Philips Norelco products, but i decided to give a try on this Panasonic trimmer
It was a bad desicion, a waste of money
the light, come on, the light is useles
also my trimmer stop working in 3 months, just after 4 uses
It looks like it need battery, becouse it start working, but after 2 seconds the motor stop
I Had change batteries, but it seams the the problem is the motor
