Comment: I got this Playstation 2 to replace an old Playstation 1. I was also curious to be able to play the DVD like games. It reads the discs so much better than my old Playstation! That is a big plus right there. The new games have better quality graphics too.
It is frustrating that it does not come with a memory card, which you are going to need on lots of different games. The movie did not interest me. I tried the Batman game, but it was very frustrating. I haven't touched the game since. I would get the Singstar pack now, if I could do it over :-)

the Batman game was a little confusing to several different age groups but eventually it was figured it out and people had fun.

Comment: I looked everywhere for the best deal for a PS2. I even looked for a used one and they were the same price as this new one! And the fact that it comes with a $40 game that my son already wanted makes it an impossible deal to beat. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. I'm buying more and more stuff from Amazon given today's economy.

Comment: I bought this bundle after I burned out my original ps2 console. i was looking for the cheapest new ps2, ( i don't like buying used consoles, too many bad issues in the past).
For the same price as all the other ps2's, at the time, this one came with a movie and lego batman. I thought why not.
So far the ps2 is working wonderfully. Much quieter without the fans, and I think the picture is even better. Much sharper. The only issue I have with it, is that it can't read my old ps1 memory card for some reason. I guess no more ff9, or MGS. No big loss i havent played those in a long time anyways.
I still havent touched the lego batman game, but the movie was enjoyable, if your under 10 or an eternal comics geek like me.
