Summary: educational standpoint
Comment: As a high-school teacher for English foundations, I try my best to expose my students to the literature their peers in regular English classes receive. I must utilize movies as a visual aide supplement to help them connect with the characters, setting, dialogue... I strongly recommend using this dvd to support your curriculum to teach on all levels of student learning (auditory, kinesthetic, visual).

Comment: The Two-Disc Collector's Edition of Pride and Prejudice is wonderful for fans of the movie. Both editions of the movie are included, wide-screen and full-screen, as well as a book highlighting the story and the making of the film. The book also includes photographs from the movie and from behind the scenes. The Collector's Edition is beautfully presented in a keepsake box. It is sure to be treasured.

Comment: I loved this movie because it showed how sometimes things might not work out how you think they will, but in the end, they do work out. Keira Knightly is absolutely gorgeous and wonderful in this movie. Matthew Macfadyen plays an interesting character with a personality that takes time to warm up to. As the movie heats up, he becomes more lovable and exciting.

Comment: This version of the Pride & Prejudice is not worth owning....rent and watch the movie, you'll know what I meant. I would strongly recommend the other version with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle being the actors/actresses of Mr. Darcy and Ms. Bennet in the movie. I daresay, this version is very well presented.

Comment: My wife originally found this set at Best Buy a month back with a price tag of over $40! I was excited to find it on Amazon for under $20 SHIPPED! Since then the price has seemed to rise, I'm sure due to being closer to Christmas.
In any case, I highly recommended this product as a great gift!
