This was the 1st novel of Markus Zusak that I have ever heard of or read, but it was well worth it.
Liesel is one character that I will never forget from a book!
Hans Hubermann, Max Vandenburg, Rudy Steiner all truly touching characters, brought to life vividly by Zusak.
The writing is amazing, the message about the power of words is absolutely true...
Highly recommended book!!

Comment: Once I opened this book, I was running with the Book Thief! I wanted the Book Thief to continue her quest for the words of the world.
This book is one of the greatest I have ever read....fear, love, compassion, loyalty, friendship, and life all intertwine in this wonderful story. I laughed, cried, giggled, imagined, and cried some more while reading this book.
Thanks to you Mr. Zusak for such a wonderful tale of life, survival and death of Ms. Liesel.

Comment: I could not put this book down; although it took me awhile to get use to the way Mr. Zusak wrote in the 3rd person. I feel this book is surely not limited to young adults, since it kept me wanting more and more...you will
not be dissapointed in reading all the twist and turns that it takes!
