Summary: Best book to learn how to do and how to improve on the Master Cleanser
Comment: Get this book if you want to understand how to be successful doing the Master cleanse. I would get the original book by Stanley Burrows also.. but this is a must .. there is so much not in the actual Burrows book that this book tells you. It is a must. I know the author personally and he is the one expert who has all the answers...

Comment: I loved Tom's book on the Master Cleanse because it goes so far beyond just the diet itself. You could basically surf the net and find the Master Cleanse recipe. He has answered many more of the questions you may have if you only read Burroughs book. He also makes the mind- body i.e positive thinking connection. There is so much more to this diet than just weigh loss, that even if you are only doing it for weight loss these other health reasons will keep you motivated to stay on the plan.

Comment: Great information regarding the Lemonade Diet. Answers a lot of questions that a person may have. But this diet needs to be followed precisely in order to have the proper detox effect. I recommend thouroughly researching this or any other detox prior to beginning a program. And be prepared mentally, especially if you're doing this purely for weight-loss purposes(which isn't the right reason). For a person who is used to and enjoys food, it's going to be hard to give up food for 10 days, cold-turkey. But as a detox, this is an effective program.
I recommend reading Stanley Burroughs' book, The Master Cleanser and Peter Glickman's book, Lose Weight, Have More Energy & Be Happier in 10 Days, Second Edition. This way, you'll get a very thourough understanding of the program and have multiple sources to refer to during the detox.
After months of healthy eating and exercise, I wasn't losing any weight. And I was seriously devoted. I decided to try this and then continue what I had been doing. I lost some weight during detox. Afterwards, my weight stayed the same while I adjusted to a normal diet, then I continued to lose weight after a few weeks. I guess detox is what my body needed to shed some fat.

Comment: Excellent companion to the Master Cleanse Booklet that I read years ago. I do believe to be successful with this fast (I have NOT done it yet), mental preparation is definitely in order. This book is just the tool needed for being mentally prepared to live the fast for the recommended period of time. Now, as they say, "Ain't nothin' to it, but to do it".
