Summary: Darn nice entry level electronic drum kit for the price
Comment: I got the Sam's Club version of this kit for Christmas. While it doesn't have the sampling or multiple strike areas of some of the fancier kits it does have audio input for an ipod or other devices and it has MIDI outputs so you can record your 'jams'.
Set up and connection is simple. There are 20 preset 'kits' and 10 available slots for programming your own kits/sounds. I'm impressed with the feel of the pads. stick bounce is pretty consistant with a membrane drum (not exact, but certainly not bad).
The stand seems sturdy enough despite it's light weight and the placement of the pads is quite flexible. I was pounding away to RUSH (piped in via my iPod) without a problem other than occasionally needing to tighten the joints for the cymbal mounts.
