Comment: Or maybe it's aluminum, I don't really know. But I do know that it feels luxurious and of another time when everything wasn't so disposable and temporary. If makes you feel like you're traveling in India (and I've never been to India, so this is just my fantasy) on a train, in a sleeping car where they serve you tea each night. Yes, yes, yes, the gum is great. But there is lots of great gum out there. (Have you looked at the rack below the cash register at a CVS? There's so much gum you panic as your turn comes up in line and you still haven't picked a pack.) This is another experience. It's dainty. It's sophisticated. It's not the kind of thing you grab in a rush when it's your turn to check out at the drugstore. There's something elegantly grown-up about it.

Comment: For some reason this gum is no longer available in my area. I was glad to find it on Amazon. The gum was up to its usual standards. I will order more soon because I am afraid that it is discontinued.
