Comment: My wife has major medical problems and we bought this to relieve pain in her neck and shoulders. We also bought the HoMedics NMSO-100 neck and shoulder massagers and a HoMedics QRM-400H back massager and they work well in combination to relieve pain and stress. Our only complaint is that there is a small area of the upper back that neither units reaches effectively. In combination they are a great product that works as advertised. I would not hesitate to recommend them both to our friends.

Comment: very bad back & after 14 yrs. of marraige my wife just is not going to give me a back message every night! but this little guy will w/not a whisper of complaint! i wish i had brought one a long time ago. i use it just about every night. it easy to use w/multiple massaging options/heat/horizonal adjustment/fixed location to massage a single area.

only complaint is it needs to be about 2/3 inches longer. i have an average build & could use a little more massage area. probably not the best for a tall person.

Summary: This massage chair cannot be beat! It is the best
Comment: I have seen reviews where people complain this chair hurts them and actually (sorry) I find that a bit funny. You have to position yourself in this cushion to find the way that you would feel comfortable. Just sit down on it easy and try it out to see where you need to be.

Will it give a the best deep tissue massage - Yes.
Will the heat element work extremely well during that massage - Yes!
Will the massage chair position itself against you and turn itself off when the heat gets to hot - No!

I have tried different vibrating gravity chairs and they do not work. I have tried just about ever kind of massager there is and this Homedics Therapist Cushion is by far the best and most superior of them all. I have moderate arthritis, mostly in my upper back and between the shoulder blades,every now and then in the lower back. This cushion takes care of it all, if it is to much pressure I just sit up off of it a little bit, if the heat gets to hot I just switch it off on the remote. It heats up super fast and gets down deep in every spot I need. Remember to at least wear a shirt because the mesh material can feel a little rough, but that material is needed for this cushion to do what it does freely.

Some people are just way to picky and expect everything to adjust for them, which is just silly. For more elderly people, I would suggest a towel between you and the cushion or a different product. This cushion is geared for athletes and those who enjoy a little pain in those troubled sore spots for relief. Sometimes it is true - no pain no gain. The button that allows you to pause the Shiatsu kneeding on your favorite spot is awesome.

I have never had a product work so well and my back has benefited from this product. I feel like a new man, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Also if you sit off the cushion a little and slouch into it you "CAN" reach those high spots near the neck and upper shoulders. Oh yeah

Comment: I like the way it works. Big problem though it doesn't fit on any of my chairs and has to be removed when not in use as it is very uncomfortable for sitting.
