Comment: These truffles are my husbands favorite chocolates! Delivery was not a problem either, even though the temperature was in the 70 - 80 range. The chocolates came wrapped in ice and were nice and fresh!

Summary: Telluride Makes The Best Dark Chocolates - Bar None!!
Comment: The hostess at a dinner party I recently attended served Telluride Dark Chocolate Truffles with coffee after the meal. Now, I am lucky to live in New York City where I can buy some of the best Belgian, French, Italian, Swiss, Dutch and American chocolate fresh from the store. I have never, ever tasted dark chocolate or truffles to equal Telluride's. I came home that night and discovered I could buy these truffles from Amazon or directly from the Telluride Truffle Website. I opted for "The Fourteener - 14 Large Dark Chocolate Truffles." The company offers all white chocolate truffles, as well as all milk chocolate, each with a variety of fillings and all made with the BEST Belgian chocolate, organic Colorado cream, and natural flavors or liqueurs. Since these are chocolates you won't want to share, it's best to get more rather than less...because you know, you will have to offer at least once. (Keep at least 7 for yourself)! These are not cheap, but they are worth every penny! Remember, Valentine's Day is coming-up!
The sublime bittersweet filled flavors in the dark chocolate collection feature: Grand Marnier, Jack Daniels, Raspberry, Cabernet Sauvignon, and pure Bittersweet. The truffles have absolutely no preservatives or wax in the ingredients. The shelf life is only one month. They are triangular in shape and come in a unique triangular box - very classy! But the secret here is not in the packaging - it is the quality of the product.

Telluride Truffles were reviewed by Kris Browning, Food editor for the Denver Post as "the best truffles I've tasted". Truffles of this quality usually cost $70-$100 a pound so get them while the price is low. Telluride Truffles are freshly hand-made with high-grade Belgian chocolate, organic Colorado cream and natural flavors or liquors. We leave out all preservatives and waxes that are found in many other chocolates. Triangular in shape in honor of the mountains that surround Telluride, a Colorado town that stands at 10,000 feet. In this box are 14 large triangular shaped truffles (2 to 3 times the size of many other chocolates companies) in assorted chocolates and flavors each truffle weighing around an ounce each. Packaged in the award-winning triangular black box with red label, and containing 14 truffles in 14 flavors in dark, milk and white chocolate. The flavors are: Grand Marnier, Chambord, Kahlua, Jack Daniels', Meyers' Rum, Almond, Hazelnut, Banana, pure Bittersweet, Cabernet, Raspberry, Tequila, Mint, and Champagne 14 truffles in the 5 bittersweet filled flavors: Grand Marnier, Jack Daniels,Raspberry, pure Bittesweet, Cabernet Sauvignon, and our newest addition, Tequila with rock salt on top.
