Summary: AN EXQUISITE CONFECTION...THE BEST CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES ANYWHERE...
Comment: I bought these chocolates through Amazon, after a fellow reviewer raved about them. When they arrived, they were artistically and beautifully packaged in a black triangular box with ribbons around it. The presentation was absolutely gorgeous! Inside the box were fourteen enormous, triangle shaped, assorted truffles. They were absolutely exquisite looking!

I had fourteen delectable looking truffles from which to choose. Telluride takes the guesswork out of the choice, as the box includes pictures of the chocolates with a description as to what delicious flavor one may expect from each and every piece. So many choices! Among my favorites were the milk chocolate with Chambord, the white chocolate with Amaretto, and the dark chocolate with raspberry, although it was a very close tie with a few others. I actually loved them all!

These chocolate truffles are exceptionally fresh and creamy. It is clear that Telluride uses only the finest ingredients. The truffles literally melt in your mouth. Believe it or not, Telluride truffles make those made by Godiva taste like dime store chocolates. I would buy Telluride's truffles again in a heartbeat! For those with someone they wish to impress, buy these chocolates, as they make a beautiful gift. Of course, you may also wish to buy them for yourself, as well. You will be glad that you did.

Summary: I Know My Chocolate - & Telluride Is The BEST!!!
Comment: I attended a dinner party a few weeks ago and the hostess served Telluride Chocolate Truffles with coffee after the meal. Now, I am lucky to live in New York City where I can buy some of the best Belgian, French, Italian, Swiss, Dutch and American chocolate fresh from the store. I have never, ever tasted chocolate or truffles to equal Telluride's. I came home that night and discovered I could buy these truffles from Amazon or directly from the Telluride Truffle Website. I opted for "The Fourteener - 14 Large Truffles." The company offers all dark chocolate truffles, all white and all milk chocolate, each with a variety of fillings and all made with the BEST Belgian chocolate. Since I like everything, I wanted a wide assortment. And since these are chocolates you won't want to share, it's best to get more rather than less...because you know, you will have to offer at least once. (Keep at least 7 for yourself)! These are not cheap, but they are worth every penny! Remember, Valentine's Day is coming-up!

Some fantastic Telluride flavors include: Dark chocolate with Grand Marnier, Jack Daniels, raspberry, bittersweet chocolate; Milk chocolate with Chambord, Khalua and coffee, hazelnut; White chocolate with Amaretto, rum, white chocolate and almond. The truffles have absolutely no preservatives or wax in the ingredients. The shelf life is only one month. They are triangular in shape and come in a unique triangular box - very classy! But the secret here is not in the packaging - it is the quality of the product.

Telluride Truffle Company was founded in 1997 by Patty Denny, chocolatier and former pastry chef, in Telluride, CO. I usually write book reviews, but I just couldn't keep the news to myself. When something tastes this good, one has an obligation to spread the word!
