Summary: Extended Battery not very extended
Comment: I needed an extended battery for my Treo 755p (Verizon). I searched the Verizon, Palm, and Amazon sites amoung others to try to determine what the mAh rating of the battery was to no avail. My standard battery was 1600mAh. This "Extended" battery turned out to be only 1800mAh. An increase of only 12.5%. The battery is a bit larger than the original, requiring the use of a new cover that was included. However, while Sprint and Verizon use burgundy and blue cases, the Blue case that I ordered does not match the phone... it is more blue, while the phone is more Teal colored. While the battery works as advertised, I would not have purchased it had I known that I was only getting 12.5% more battery life. There ought to be somewhere that one can identify what one is purchasing. Since it is a Palm-branded battery, I would have expected Palm to give that info based on the part number. They probably figured that if they listed it as only 1800mAh, nobody would buy it!!! I also wish that the color matched, since the implication (based on the offered colors) was that it would match the phone.
