Comment: Despite some initial misgivings from the youngest hammock afficionado in the family who was worried the rope construction wouldn't be comfortable, it took about five minutes of relaxing to change his mind. It dries easily, is soft and I don't worry about taking it down if a sudden wind or storm comes up.

Summary: Top of the line, excellent - used entire summer
Comment: Absolutelty top-notch. I left it out in rain, shine and fog for 6 months now. Don't have the energy to get it inside each time it rains (and oh boy, did it rain this summer in Dallas!). Each time sun shines back, my hammock is as great-feeling, as shiny and as taut as new. This weekend I had a party in my backyard, and my guests turned on the rough heat a little bit - they were even using it as a swing, three adults at a time. I was a little concerned, but at the end it was as if nothing happened. Kind of the feeling you get after you complete your first cross-state long drive with your Honda or Toyota - you are concerned whether your car is OK, but that trip was not even as much as a dent on its mind-boggling robust engineering. Pawleys rocks!

Mine and my wife's inexperience at the beginning resulted in a very scarily tangled up knot - all the hammock's ropes seemed to be tied to evry other piece of rope and passing through every other hole. But we slept on ot for a night, and gave it another shot next day. An intricate amount of mathematical calculations saved the day, and the hammock was straight again. It was us to blame in the first place - be careful to handle the hammock the right way. While rolling up, use the wood bars at the ends as anchor. Do not try fancy styles or get inattentive while rolling it up or down.

Comment: WE HAVE OWNED A PAWLEYS ISLAND HAMMOCK IN THE PAST, BUT THIS NEW ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER WITH THE DURA CORD, IT IS VERY CONFORTABLE AND I HOPE IT WILL NOT STREACH ANYMORE, I AM AT THE MAX. ADJUSTMENT.
