Summary: Uses too much water
Comment: This is actually 2 showerheads in one. It allows you to use one or the other, or both. Problem is, using either of them alone does not provide good coverage so I found everybody in the house using both. When using both you are using twice as much water as with a normal showerhead. Not very economical, plus it cut the amount of hot water down....so there were some cold showers! Never had a problem with hot water with 45 gal water heater before this showerhead. I've since replaced it and tossed this one.

Summary: good product-no leaks
Comment: I bought this handheld showerhead for my wife who had a wide-spray showerhead, which she liked but she really missed the handheld option. This product offers both. I have purchased several handheld showerheads in the past and they usually leak somewhere. As always I used a bit of plumbers tape and this showerhead did not leak at all. The hose is a bit shorter than some models I have used but that was not an issue for our application. In fact some showerheads have hoses that are too long and so they tangle. Great product for the price.

Summary: Easy to install and great to use
Comment: I'm very pleased with this shower head. My old one was getting so cruddy to the point I couldn't really clean it anymore, so I decided to treat myself to this one. For such a cheap price, you get a great warm shower that envelops your whole body. The removable shower head is such a great feature to rinse all the soap out of your body's nooks and crannies.
The installation really is tool-free, I didn't need any tools to get it done. However, it's VERY important to wrap white Teflon plumber's tape on ALL the connectors (hose, inflow, etc..) All you do is just wrap a few layers of the tape around the threads of the connections. Then when you screw the connector together, the tape fills in the gaps between the threads. If you don't do this, you will get leaks.

Summary: Good SHower head
Comment: I got this shower head for my husband as a Christmas present. It was easy to install and works really well. We replaced a hand held that was only about 2 1/2" across so this was quite a large difference. Our overall house pressure isn't that strong so I was concerned a little. Although I think it could be a little stronger, I find the pressure acceptable and love the wider spray. My husband loves the fact you can use the hand held and have a spray from the base at the same time. My only issue is that the unit hangs lower than our old one. Not a problem for me, I'm 5'4" nor my husband whose 5'11" but if you were much taller, I could see this being a detractor.

Summary: Excellent with a small caveat
Comment: I just installed it and took a shower using this new head 20 minutes ago. Installation was very simple. The water pressure (at the default 2.5 gpm) and spread are excellent. Since many people have already sung the virtues of this shower head, I'll just say they are all correct, this is a wonderful unit and is worth every penny I spent on it (and yes, it had all its washers).
The only caveat I have is that the vertical angle of this shower head is quite limited, so if you're really tall, it may be spraying you in the eyes or the chest instead of a good soaking from your scalp. I'm 5'8" and the shower head pipe in my shower stall is positioned at 6' height. After installation, the angle of the Peerless shower head is just about OK. If I was 6' tall, the shower head would be spraying me right in the eyes instead of slightly over my head.
So if you're worried about the height, check where your shower head pipe is position before buying this unit. You need at least a 4" height clearance between the shower head pipe and the top of your head to really enjoy this unit (5" or more would be ideal).
