Summary: Hmmm . . .
Comment: I don't know about you, but Ash's new friend Richie seems too good to be true. And to me he's sort of flat; I ean he has like no personality aside from the fact that he's a great trainer and friend. I just think that Richie was a rather dry character. And while I liked the previous Indigo League battle episodes, I didn't find these to be as good. The episodes aren't boring in the least, just a little dry, I guess. And this is really picky but Richie's laugh is SO annoying!

Have you realized that Richie is an awful lot like Young Profeesor Oak in Pokemon 4ever (but for some odd reason I can tolerate him)? I think that Richie's character wasn't that original. Dry.

Has anyone realized that Ash has met like 500 million trainers and says he will meet them again someday? And he hasn't met a single one? (Well, if I'm not mistaken Richie shows up) What the hek is up with that? I like the first season of Pokemon the best. After that, it got so repetitive and Team Rocket got dumber and dumber. I mean at first they were sinister and slightly evil but now they're just silly and stupid. Pokemon Johto was okay since it had Misty, but Pokemon Advanced was awfful. I liked the Pokemon but the show was ooberly mediocre. Give me the original episodes any day!

Comment: Looking back on the days when me and me chums watched pokemon, I realise how mentally sick we all were. The show is pathetic. Its about a series of random 'adventures' in a 'pokemon' 'world'. ahem. These episodes hardly tie in together at all, with the same scenario repeated in a thousand different ways. I would have thought that by episode ten million in series eight thousand that they would have given up, but oh no! There are still lots of weirdos out there. And to mister "a veiwer", what you wrote isnt a review, it's a monstrously overworded synopsis.

Summary: The end for the Indigo League
Comment: Three five star episodes round out this, the last video for the Indigo League series. First, in "A Friend In Deed", Ash meets Richie, a fellow Pokemon trainer, and they both team up when Team Rocket manages to shanghi all the Pokemon in the competition! Ash and Richie save the Pokemon (of course), and become good friends, only to discover that they will be facing each other in the fifth round! In "Friend and Foe Alike", Ash and Richie promise to make their battle the greatest ever, but Team Rocket has other plans. They capture Ash to prevent him from taking part in the fifth round, but thanks to Ash's Pokemon, he gets away and makes it to the stadium just in time! Ash and Richie battle each other, but in the end, Richie comes out the winner. In "Friends To The End", Ash is depressed about losing to Richie, but Richie also loses in the sixth round. After listening to Richie talk about how he can learn from losing, Ash decides that he's been acting like a baby and as the Pokemon League ceremonies come to a close, he decides that he will train even harder! A perfect end for the Indigo Series!

Summary: Friend vs. Rivals
Comment: In the first show,A friend in need,Ash met Richie, another trainer, who seems much better than Ash. Team Rocket(TR) steals all trainer's poke balls and Ash and Richie team up with a chase and try to get the poke balls back. In the end, Richie uses Butterfree and Ash uses Pidgeotto to land safly from a very high cliff. (Buy it to see how they got on a cliff...it's pretty cool since you get to see the smartness of Richie and 2 other Pokemon. In Friend and Foe Alike, Brock tells Ash that Richie is winning 4 rounds..with only Butterfree, Pikachu and Charmander! Ash is in troube and later on, TR tricks Ash and a usuall boring battle happens with Ash and TR. In the end, Ash and Richie find they will battle each other... In Friends till the end, Ash losses to Richie and gets embarrsed. So embarrsed, he gets really mad. (this is my favorite part...) Misty comes in to Ash's room, and they get into a fight. (Yay!) Soon, Ash gets over it and finds out that Richie lost the battle after he beat Ash. In the end, Richie (as most of the people Ash met) went a different path and they say goodbye. (How sad...not!)

Comment: Okay, here's the inside scoop of this video. It's about Ash, Richie, & their Pokemon. In "A Friend In Need", we see how Ash first meets Richie & how he has a Pikachu just like Ash. Jessie makes an announcement that everyone must cash in their Pokeballs. Ash goes but is shocked to see Richie there. Jessie sees Pikachu & takes it. James accidently says Jessie & Ash & Richie find out it's Team Rocket that is causing all this. They chase after Team Rocket & get the Pokemon back. There's even more bad news when Ash's next opponent in the Pokemon League is Richie. In "Friend & Foe Alike", Ash thinks about the next battle when Misty calls him about something on the computer about Richie. She says Richie has won all 4 rounds with only 3 Pokemon: Pikachu, Butterfree, & Charmander.(Didn't Ash use to have a Charmander & a Butterfree?) Brock then says Ash's in trouble & Ash says he's a better trainer than Richie. Team Rocket find out about Ash & Richie's friendship & decide to use a cardboard cutout of Richie to call Ash & tell him something about Pikachu. Ash falls for it, something he shouldn't have done, & the fake Richie is revealed as Jessie, as she, Meowth, & James do their motto. They trap Ash in a net & kidnap him. Meanwhile, Misty & Brock worry about Ash & Brock says the match starts in an hour. Meanwhile, Team Rocket notices the truck is flooding, but it's only Squirtle's Water Gun, which was commanded by, you guessed it, Ash. At the stadium, the people wonder where Ash is. Richie wants to wait for Ash, saying Ash made a promise to him. They agree to wait 10 minutes more. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is still chasing Ash. Ash then sends out Bulbasaur, who uses Vine Whip. Jessie says he'll need more than Bulbasaur, however. That wish comes true as Pikachu uses Thunderbolt. Team Rocket doesn't quit, however, & uses bicycles. James then sends out Weezing, who uses Smog. Team Rocket makes Ash choose whether to give up Pikachu or miss the match against Richie. He then steals their bikes(just like he did with Misty's.) But Team Rocket is in the Meowth Ballon & makes Ash give the bikes back. Ash then sends out Pidgeotto & Pikachu & they send Team Rocket flying &, as usual, they blast off. Ash commands Pidgeotto to fly him & Pikachu to the stadium. Richie still waits for Ash & is about to give up when suddenly, Ash shows up. He & Richie battle, but Ash ends up being the loser thanks to your friend & mine, Charizard. Why did Ash send out Charizard in the first place? Anyway, in "Friends To The End", Ash lies in bed, very upset about his loss to Richie. Misty, Professor Oak, Mrs. Ketchum, & Brock are all sitting in a room talking about Ash when Misty volunteers to cheer Ash up. They end up fighting when Brock & Mrs. Ketchum come in, saying Ash shouldn't snap at Misty because she thinks he should be happy. They fight again when Professor Oak comes in & says he could've won if he'd trained Charizard the right way. Misty calls Ash lazy & they fight again(& I MEAN AGAIN)when Pikachu uses his Thunderbolt. Then, they see Richie on TV & Misty, Brock, & Ash go to Richie's next competition, which Richie loses. Ash & Richie are sitting in a park nearby, talking about the competition. Their Pikachu are playing nicely.(Isn't that sweet?) Just then, Team Rocket notices the Pikachu & trap them in a cage. They also trap Ash & Richie underground. But they escape thanks to Ash's Pidgeotto & Richie's Butterfree. Even though Jessie isn't Weezing's master, she commands him to use Smokescreen, but it fails. Ash then picks up the cage & throws it at Team Rocket. He also commands Squirtle to use Water Gun & it works, causing Team Rocket to, as usual, blast off. Ash & Richie celebrate. Then, all the Pokemon League participants, including Richie & Ash, watch the fireworks because the Pokemon League is over. Richie then says goodbye to Ash & tells him to train hard. Then, Misty, Pikachu, Mrs. Ketchum, Brock, & Professor Oak congrualate Ash for doing a great job. Well, that's it. That's the review.
