Comment: I am faily new to wet shaving and still in the process of evaluating different blades and creams. This cream laters up nice and has a tingling sensation becasue of the eucalyptus (which I like). Right now this is my favorite one.

Summary: Great product, Great Results, Great smell
Comment: Yeah I'm a cheap skate when it comes to shaving (the reason I tried out DE style razors) and I could be more pleased with a shaving cream than I am with PRORASO. Leaves your face feeling cool and refreshed after your shave due to the Eucalyptus in it.

Best when used with a Badger hair brush and good hot water, a Double Edge razor takes it even further.

You only need barely enough to cover the tip of one finger and you'll have enough lather to make a few passes or more. Basically this 10-dollar tube will last you MONTHS! Yeah try that with your can of GOO from Wally World. You might get a couple weeks maybe a month out of them and they cost close to the price of this tube each bottle. I would go as far as saying it's about 10 bottles to one Proraso tube.

Takes less than a minute to work up a really good lather with this product, one that really seems to protect my face from razor burn a lot better than all the other products I have used. I've tried shaving soaps, glycerin soaps, various GOO in a can, and even some of the higher end TRUE shaving creams (similar to this product listed). I would still say that Proraso has a solid hold on my. Its smell is light and soothing (other pretty much over power your nose). I can definitely tell that it protects my skin better than most other products. I personally like to put a couple extra drops of "essential oils" in the lather for that extra mile protection but that's just me.

Works with all shaving methods, you don't need a brush to use this cream, just rub it around your face with a "LITTLE" bit of water and it'll lather up real quick. You don't need but enough to cover the end of your pinky finger. You can then use a DE Razor, Cartridge Razor (sensor excel, quatro, whatever), or even a straight Razor (you need skill to work with a razor like that).

Bottom Line: Great Product, wont hurt your pocket to start out, will last you so long you'll probably want to throw it away just so you can buy a new tube.

Summary: Excellent for Wet Shaving!
Comment: Great product! This shaving cream has a cool crisp scent and leaves your skin feeling great (although it does contain parabens). It takes a little longer to bring to a good lather compared to other prodcuts I have used (Taylor of OBS and Art of Shaving), but the short wait is worth it. Also, you can't beat the price!

Summary: excellent shave cream for the brush.
Comment: This product was available at Target, until recently. I love it. The only complaint I have is that the cap wears out before the product runs out. After the tube is about 2/3 used up, the cap breaks. This leads to the cream drying out, to the point where it clogs up the exit point and I can't squeeze it out anymore. I have tried to be super gentle with the cap, to no avail. Such an unusual problem, but it happens every time.

Comment: Without question the best shaving product in my experience. Used with plenty of hot water, a double edged razor, and a brush (up and down strokes are best) and you can expect the closest, most comfortable shave ever. The scent is manly but not macho, and is very light in any case after you wash it off, and you don't need to use aftershave either. Wonderful.

If you use a brush, make sure to get a good badger hair brush (expect to spend anywhere from twenty to forty dollars for a decent but inexpensive brush that will last a decade or more.) Make sure to also get a brush stand like the Nickel Shaving Brush Holder to keep water from seeping into the handle, which shortens the life of the brush.
