Comment: This mesh jar lid fits on a wide-mouth canning jar and works perfectly for growing sprouts. I've used cheesecloth in the past, which also works, but this is more straight-forward and does the job well without requiring that I wash the cheesecloth fabric. This is a very good and easy solution.
