Summary: Defective out of the Box
Comment: This was the main gift for our eight year old daughter. We opened it, plugged it in and the cd driver wouldn't open. On top of that, the sound didn't work on the microphone. We tried to return or exchange the product, but Sky Box wouldn't do it because we had bought the month before...of course we had never opened it. We bought it for Christmas & let it sit until then. Emerson still hasn't contacted us back to let us know what to do with it. We'll NEVER shop Sky Box again! RUN don't walk AWAY from this product.

Summary: Defective - sending it back
Comment: We are really disappointed with this product. The b/w screen kept going in and out of focus making it impossible to read the lyrics or view the screen. Clearly there is a product defect. For this reason I do not recommend buying any products from this company.

Unfortunately, this was our "big" present to our 10 year old from Santa. So we are unhappily sending it back to the workshop so that maybe the elves can fix it.

Comment: we looked around for a lot of karaoke machines and this one definately delivered. Exactly what we were looking for. Right price, plays regular CD's and karaoke Cd's and displays the words, also you can switch it to camera and you can watch yourself! Big hit with the kids and at parties. It's portable and easy to use. Great buy!
