Summary: It is olive oil and "Truffle Aroma"
Comment: Just so that you know what you are buying - the ingredients on the back are clearly shown to be olive oil and "truffle aroma". As another reviewer said - this is olive oil and chemicals. It's very disappointing to have paid this much for a wee little bottle (and it is wee!) of olive oil and chemicals.

Comment: We use this, and in very small quantities it can add a nice overtone, but keep in mind this is all chemicals and olive oil. Natural truffles play no part in its manufacture, so anything more than a touch can get overtly metallic and chemical tasting.

Summary: Good things come in small packages
Comment: I bought this yesterday at the same price from a gourmet wine-country grocery store, and while it is small, the flavor and scent are rich and heavy. I'm going to use it in a vinaigrette tonight. I've seen much larger bottles of truffle infused grapeseed oil also which tasted just as good, so it wouldn't hurt to shop around if you can wait (I couldn't-- there's a truffled lobster risotto recipe I've been wanting to try for months).

Comment: I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend who loves to cook. I have no idea what it's used for, however he was very happy and used it immediately for a pasta salad. It was quite tasty!! Awesome product, and extremely fast shipping.

Summary: A Must for your Pantry!
Comment: You cannot go wrong with this white truffle oil, it has a good balance and none of the synthetic flavorings some other brands use. I am a Private Chef in New York City who has sampled many different brands over the years, this one definitely stands out. Even Daniel Boulud uses Urbani White Truffle oil in his kitchens, that should tell you something.
A drizzle of this stuff on a Soft Polenta with Sauteed Wild Mushrooms = Heaven. Check out my blog for the recipe. Hope this helps!
