Summary: Lightscribe Letdown
Comment: The DVD's work as well as any I have purchased. Lightscribe on the other hand is a let down. The image is just a little darker than the background even at the darkest setting.

Comment: I have a VHS to DVD machine and this work great in it, just as Verbatim always has for the 4+ years I had the machine. I bought these to test out computers as well as a duplicator I bought as a Christmas gift for someone and they work great.
The only downside is they take longer to write than most DVDs that are 16x but that is okay because they come out perfect and the lighscribe looks great on them.

Comment: Nothing but success with every verbatim spindle i have ever purchased before but these were lemons. I have yet to figure out a way to make lemonade from them.
The data side burns fine. Out of 4 so far, only one has printed on the lightscribe side.
These were purchased in early July '08. The chances of buying disks from the same bad lot are remote.

Comment: got these to try lightscribe for the first time and they worked great!!! not a single coaster in the pack. i will be getting these again for sure. as for the timely fashion in which they came, it was good. i usually get my purchases faster, however, they did arrive on time and that's all i can ask for. good job amazon.
